Orlando—Governor Charlie Crist and Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer introduced the Republican Presidential candidates as the Presidency 4 Presidential Rally commenced Saturday afternoon. More than 3,000 activists assembled at the Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida to learn more about the candidates and their positions on key issues.

“This rally offers Floridians and our guests from other states an exciting opportunity to learn more about these exceptional leaders running for the highest office in the land,” said Governor Crist. “It’s true democracy at work; nominees express their vision and the people decide for themselves who the most qualified candidate is.”

The Republican presidential candidates in attendance for the Presidency 4 rally were Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Senator John McCain, Governor Mitt Romney and Senator Fred Thompson. The candidates each addressed Republican Party of Florida grassroots activists and elected officials and shared their vision for the nation’s future.

“Today’s Presidential rally attendees had a remarkable chance to hear from the Republican candidates first hand,” said Chairman Greer. “With Florida’s primary election less than three months away, their experience at Presidency 4 will help these voters to make an informed decision on election day.”
