At a caucus on Saturday, March 15 in Palatka, conducted by 7th Congressional District Chairman Jim Stelling a secret election was conducted to select the delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis to be held between September 1 and September 4.

The delegates and alternates were elected from the six counties comprising Florida's 7th Congressional District. The delegates and alternates are all committed to Senator John McCain.
